On 15 December 2025, engineers of the Regional Centre of Competence (RCK) Velika Gorica visited BFI Burgenland in Austria to see first-hand what other European centres of excellence offer.
The aim of the visit was to get to know modern facilities in mechanical and electrical engineering. Our engineers toured the workshops and laboratories to see how their Austrian colleagues organise teaching and which technologies they use in education.
During the visit, the RCK engineers gave a presentation for the staff of BFI Burgenland, introducing the work of our Centre, our projects and the way we train students in Velika Gorica. Visits like this are essential for gathering new ideas and continuously improving the equipment and programmes we offer our participants.
