BERTOL metal d.o.o.

In cooperation with this company, we cut couplings for handrails in half on a CNC wire EDM machine. This required designing and making a fixture to hold the coupling.

Alas info d.o.o.

Our cooperation with Alas info is based on staff training in exchange for the use of RCK Velika Gorica equipment.

Metal product d.o.o.

In cooperation with Metal product we carry out a wide range of work, from CNC machining and heat treatment to measuring and testing the same materials.

Eloterm d.o.o.

We cooperated with Eloterm d.o.o. on the production of copper heat sinks. The manufacturing process includes the following operations:

  • sawing
  • facing and machining to size on a three-axis milling machine
  • drilling and threading on a five-axis machining centre.

EMAT d.o.o.

EMAT d.o.o. is a specialised electromechanical company known for solving its clients' technically demanding and complex challenges. In this case we developed a solution for a damaged centrifugal pump impeller. The task was made even more complex by the fact that the impeller also serves as a rotor with built-in permanent magnets, and the pump is used to transfer aggressive chemicals.

The manufacturing process required the following operations:

  • 3D scanning
  • Reverse engineering
  • Additive manufacturing (PA6-CF material)

3m d.o.o.

Cooperation between RCK and 3m d.o.o.

RCK has started cooperating with the Croatian company 3m d.o.o. on the development of certain components of water treatment systems, with our students actively involved. Through this project they gain valuable practical experience working alongside industry experts.

Location: RCK – Velika Gorica, Ulica kralja Stjepana Tomaševića 21, Velika Gorica.

ISCAR will hold a lecture on drilling at the Regional Centre of Competence – Industry 4.0 in Velika Gorica under the slogan "Drilling Intelligently".

The lecture is intended for metalworking companies of all kinds, but anyone who sees a benefit for their professional development is welcome to register.

REGOFIX

RCK Industry 4.0 of Vocational School Velika Gorica, a promoter of new technologies and knowledge in mechanical engineering, was pleased to welcome the REGO-FIX Demo Bus on Tuesday, 20 May 2025.

The REGO-FIX Demo Bus is REGO-FIX's mobile exhibition and training centre: a specially equipped vehicle that visits companies, trade fairs and educational institutions across Europe (and beyond) to present the latest technologies and solutions in tool clamping.

During the visit, students and teachers:

  • Attended practical demonstrations – how the powRgrip system works, how concentricity is measured and why precise clamping is important for high-quality machining.
  • Learned about industry standards – why the ER clamping system is accepted worldwide and what the criteria are for choosing a clamping tool.
  • Asked the experts questions – and got concrete answers about operating CNC machines, tools and maintenance.
  • Raised their awareness of modern technologies – through direct contact with equipment used in the most demanding industries, such as aerospace, automotive and precision engineering.

PRIOR

Date: 27 March 2025
Time: 10:00–15:00
Location: RCK – Velika Gorica, Ulica kralja Stjepana Tomaševića 21, Velika Gorica.

In cooperation with PRIOR inženjering, the RCK hosted professional training on additive manufacturing with a demonstration of printing on an FDM printer.

3D PRINTAJ

On 15 October 2025, the Regional Centre of Competence (RCK) Velika Gorica hosted an exclusive event dedicated to the latest advances in 3D printing. The company 3D printaj organised a presentation and demonstration of its new product – the Bambu Lab H2D Pro printer.

The event attracted considerable interest from the community, bringing together around 50 visitors, including hobbyists, professionals and representatives of educational institutions. The turnout confirms the growing popularity of 3D technology in the region.

The aim of the event was a detailed presentation of the technical specifications and capabilities of the Bambu Lab H2D Pro. Visitors could see the printer in action, examine samples printed with it and put questions directly to the team of experts from 3D printaj.

The organisers expressed their satisfaction with the success of the event and the turnout. "We thank RCK Velika Gorica for providing the venue and helping to organise the event, and all the 3D printing enthusiasts who came to see the Bambu Lab H2D Pro in action," said 3D printaj.

Events like this not only present new equipment but also strengthen cooperation between technology companies and education centres such as the RCK, promoting innovation and digital skills.

KYOCERA

On 14 October 2025, the Regional Centre of Competence (RCK) Velika Gorica was visited by a delegation of the renowned Japanese company Kyocera, known for its tools and industrial equipment.

The purpose of the visit was to discuss potential cooperation in raising the quality of practical training.

Focus on knowledge and skills

Kyocera and RCK Velika Gorica are considering a partnership focused on specialised education and training. The main idea is for Kyocera experts to come to the Centre and train teachers and students on the existing machines and equipment at the RCK.

This approach would ensure that the machines at the Centre are used in the best possible way, applying advanced techniques and standards used by global industry. The aim is for RCK participants to gain the skills that are directly needed on the labour market.
