What we do
Modular teaching
Regional centres of competence develop modern modular teaching through cooperation between schools and industry, equipping facilities and training teachers. This raises the quality of education, brings it closer to labour market needs and improves student employability.
Cooperation with industry
The Regional Centre of Competence provides technical consulting to companies in new technologies, optimisation of business and production processes and employee development, strongly supporting innovation and the competitiveness of the Croatian economy.
Lifelong learning
The Regional Centre of Competence runs adult education programmes focused on knowledge and skills in machining, 3D modelling, 3D printing and 3D scanning. With modern equipment and industry cooperation, it develops the skills the labour market needs and promotes lifelong learning.

Vocational School Velika Gorica (SSŠVG) is recognised as one of the leading centres of vocational education in Croatia and has been appointed to lead RCK – Industry 4.0, together with the Vocational School Samobor and the Secondary School Dugo Selo. Combining tradition, modern technology and innovative teaching, RCK – Industry 4.0 is where students gain the knowledge and skills for the jobs of the future.
