The network and connection of secondary vocational schools will:
- give all students in Zagreb County equal access to high-quality education and equal educational opportunities comparable to European Union standards;
- provide teachers and vocational instructors with theoretical and practical training based on lifelong learning;
- establish regular and additional lessons and work-based practical training for students;
- ensure the rational use of funds from EU funds, the state budget, decentralised funds and other sources;
- enable Zagreb County, taking into account demographic trends in the county, to prepare and adopt a high-quality proposal for the structure of student enrolment in vocational programmes in line with its labour market needs and development strategies.
